The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will observe Wildflower Week from June 6-8, with events scheduled in Ogallala, Gering, and Scottsbluff. The week begins in Ogallala with a presentation on plants and a guided hike at Cedar Point Biological Station, followed by an event at Tri Trails Park Affiliate Site.

Alcohol Compliance Checks Held in Multiple Panhandle Counties
MARCH 26, 2024 (SIDNEY, NEB.) — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have conducted alcohol compliance checks in Cheyenne, Morrill, and Box Butte counties. During the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday, March 15, investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks in Cheyenne County. In total, 23 businesses were checked. Three of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 87%. The businesses that failed the compliance check were:
