Local Triumph: East Central College Falcons Dominate in Regional Tournament Opener
The East Central College Falcons won their opening game at the Region 16 DII Baseball Tournament, defeating Hesston College Larks 9-0. The match took place in Moberly, MO, improving the Falcons' season record to 35-19. Pitcher Adam DeBoer led the team with a no-hitter complete game shutout, walking two batters and hitting another.
Sharpen Your Skills at the MACC Greyhounds Summer Basketball Camp This June
The MACC Greyhounds Summer Basketball Camp will take place from June 17-21 at the Fitzsimmons-John Arena on the Moberly Area Community College campus. The camp is open to girls and boys in grades 2 through 12. Camp activities are scheduled from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily, except for Friday, which ends at noon. The camp will focus on improving basketball skills such as shooting, offensive footwork, and ball handling. It will also include team play and competitive games. The fee is $150 per camper, with a reduced rate of $125 for families with multiple children. Each camper will receive a T-shirt and lunch is included each day.
