Pirates compete in Bulldog Invite
The Waterloo track & field team continued to test itself last week by competing twice. First, the Pirates headed off to Poynette High School on Tuesday, April 23 for a Capitol Conference quad against Columbus and Wisconsin Heights in addition to the host Pumas. To follow, Waterloo made the trek to Pardeeville High School on Friday, April 26 to compete in the Bulldog Invitational. Local Pride: Rio School District Wins National 2024 Green Ribbon for Sustainability Efforts
The Rio School District is set to receive the 2024 Green Ribbon Schools recognition from the U.S. Department of Education. This award acknowledges the district's commitment to sustainability and education. Additionally, it has been named the 2024 California Green Ribbon Schools District Sustainability Honoree, receiving the highest state recognition, the Green Achiever designation.
