🚧 Culvert Repairs Update: NY 417 Eastbound Closure in Allegany & Steuben Counties

As part of the ongoing infrastructure maintenance, significant culvert repairs are underway on NY 417 in both directions at the Allegany and Steuben County Line near Greenwood. These essential repairs started on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, and will continue through Monday, August 5th, 2024. Motorists should note that during this period, traffic on the eastbound lane of NY 417 will be closed, while the westbound lane will remain open. Lawrenceville's Memorial Day parade carries decades of history
LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- The Memorial Day celebration in Lawrenceville is one of the biggest in the area, with some saying it dates back 150 years.Here is a picture from the Allegheny Cemetery of Civil War veterans marching in the parade in 1918.And here is one from a few decades later showing veterans in 1937.This year the parade had 65 entries.
