Frost Advisory in Effect for Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin
DULUTH — Issued by the National Weather Service at 2:27 AM on September 7, 2024. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Duluth has issued a Frost Advisory for parts of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, including the cities of International Falls, Hill City, Two Harbors, Duluth, Bigfork, Grand Rapids, Grand Marais, and Silver Bay. The advisory remains in effect until 8 AM CDT this morning as temperatures are expected to dip as low as 34°F, leading to potential frost formation that could damage sensitive vegetation.
Wisconsin health officials recall eggs after a multistate salmonella outbreak
Wisconsin health officials initiated a recall of eggs following an outbreak of salmonella infections among 65 people in nine states that originated on a Wisconsin farm. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services said in a statement Friday that among those infected by salmonella are 42 people in Wisconsin, where the eggs are believed to have been sold.

Southern Minnesota Fentanyl Investigation Leads to Guilty Plea
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Minnesota man has admitted to a federal charge stemming from an investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl pills. The US Attorney For Minnesota says 37-year-old Giorgio Javon d'Larenta Baymon has entered a guilty plea to one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. His sentencing hearing has not been scheduled.
