Man Arrested for Kidnapping at Mississippi Truck Stop; 12 Year Old Victim Found
A missing North Carolina girl that had been abducted on September 29 has been found with a South Carolina man at the 35/55 Truck Stop in Carroll County, Mississippi. Randy Donovan, 53, of Columbus, South Carolina, was arrested on Tuesday, October 1st, and booked on multiple charges after FBI agents recieved a tip that lead to them searching multiple vehicles and found a 12 year old girl that had been missing inside of an 18-wheeler.
Lowndes County STING Unit Conducts Drug Bust, Seizes Firearms and Drugs
The Lowndes County Narcotics STING Unit executed a search warrant on September 27th,2024 that led to the arrest of two individuals residing in the home. According to a press release from Lowndes County, the residence, 202 Pandora Drive in Columbus, has been under investigation for the last several weeks due to suspicion of drug distribution. Upon entry into the residence, the agents were able to seize dosage units of MDMA and prescription medication that was being sold, paraphernalia, a significant quanity of cocaine, and U.S. currency. Three firearms were also recovered at the residence. Two were semi-automatic handguns and one was a revolver-style gun.

Denim DeShields 'wanted to be a part of something great' at State
Denim DeShields was destined to be a good athlete because it runs in her family. Her father, Delino, played 13 years of professional baseball, and her mom, Tisha, was an All-American track and field athlete at Tennessee. DeShields has four siblings. Her brother, Delino Jr., was the eighth pick in the MLB draft in 2010, and her sister, Diamond, currently plays for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA and was the third selection in the 2018 draft.
