OHSAA football ratings: Biggest risers, fallers after Week 6 games
A few local high school football teams significantly solidified their playoff positioning with wins last Friday, while others saw their postseason aspirations take a hit. Many other northwest Ohio schools did not move much in the latest computer football ratings released by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on Tuesday. The computer ratings, which are released every week beginning in the fifth week of the season, determine the playoff qualifiers as well as postseason seeding. The top 16 schools in each region of the state's seven football divisions will qualify for the playoffs. If playoffs started today, all three Division I schools from northwest Ohio (Perrysburg, Whitmer, and Findlay) would host home playoff games.
