The Stillwater Elks Lodge 179 is hosting its annual Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater starting at 1 p.m. Competition for boys and girls will be held in three age groups, 8-9 years old, 10-11 and 12-13. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.Winners will advance to district competition with the opportunity to qualify for state, regional and national events.
