BARTON COUNTY, Kan. - A Kansas woman is dead after she was struck by a train Thursday afternoon. Barton County, Missouri authorities say they received a call and responded near the state line near Mulberry, Kansas. The woman died at the scene. Authorities say the woman was on foot. ERIE, Kan. - The community of Erie, Kansas came out to honor and celebrate veterans at the 150th Old Soldiers and Sailors Reunion. This event includes: a beer garden, free inflatables, a fireworks show, and a parade happening on the 15th, but of course, if you come to the reunion you can't miss out on the free bean feed -- which means 12 hundred pounds of navy beans.
