A nonprofit is suing companies involved with the cash payout games proliferating across Kentucky stores in recent years, citing a 226-year-old law that allows third parties to recover residents’ losses from illegal gambling.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville bar on Frankfort Avenue turns 100 years old this year!. Gerstle's is the "last man standing" of the original bars in St. Matthews. Owner Erik White said he heard stories from his father and grandfather about their wild nights out at Gerstle's. He's owned the bar now for 16 years and says it has been an honor to keep the family legend alive.
