Eighteen Cecil County baseball players were selected to the All-Chesapeake or All-Susquehanna Division teams by participating coaches of the UCBAC on Monday. South defeats North in UCBAC All-Star Game
The eighth annual UCBAC All-Star game brought 36 seniors from across the UCBAC to The Ripken Experience in Aberdeen on Monday for some end of the year baseball. The South, consisting of players from Rising Sun, North East, Perryville, Havre de Grace, Aberdeen, Edgewood, Fallston and Harford Tech, won 6-0. Perryville’s Gage Poorman and North East’s Ethan Flaugher each drove in runs. Flaugher, Luke Keefer and Evan England represented North East. Layne Hull and and Dylan Schriver represented Rising Sun. Poorman represented Perryville. Nate Fleming, Andrew Connolley and Braden Paris represented Bohemia Manor on the North. Jose Romero, Luis Romero and Langston Belser represented Elkton on the northern squad. The North consisted of ball players from Bo Manor, Elkton, Patterson Mill, Joppatowne, C.M. Wright, Bel Air and North Harford.
