Laramie County Inmate Charged Again With Assaulting Jailer
For the second time in less than a month, a 36-year-old Cheyenne transient being held in the Laramie County Detention Center has been charged with assaulting a jailer. According to a booking sheet, inmate Benjamin Louis Wilkinson at 2:33 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1 was served with a warrant for assault and battery on a corrections or detention officer - propels any dangerous substance, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $5,000 fine, or both.
