Indiana organization asking plane owners to offer up flights to ferry supplies to North Carolina
EDINBURGH, Ind. — A group of organized civilians in Indiana is calling for the help of local plane owners to assist with relief efforts in North Carolina. Based out of Edinburgh, the Civilian Crisis Response Team (CCRT) works to help people during their times of greatest needs. Right now, the greatest need is in North Carolina for the people who are trapped by historic floods after Hurricane Helene left a trail of destruction across the U.S.

ASHE — Blue Ridge Energy and assisting crews and contractors are working around the clock to safely restore power as quickly as possible in the wake of hundreds of downed trees, washed out roads and decimated power lines and poles.
