Tektronix will get new owner after corporate spinoff in 2025
Oregon technology stalwart Tektronix will get a new owner next year when its parent company spins off part of its business. A conglomerate called Fortive Corp. has owned Tek since 2016. Tektronix is part of Fortive’s precision technologies business, which had $2.1 billion in sales last year — about a third of Fortive’s total revenue.
