SMITH COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Friday in Smith County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Kenworth semi driven by Nathaniel Keith Brandt, 43, Omaha, was southbound on Kansas 8 approximately fifteen miles north of U.S. 36.
