Red Lion Country Club site developer terminates contract to purchase land
The land that housed the former Red Lion Country Club has moved one step closer to remaining undeveloped. In a letter sent Monday to the Red Lion Area School District, the proposed developer for this 58-acre property has terminated the contract. The land is owned by the Red Lion Area School District, and it was listed for sale for $1.5 million in 2018. The sale to the developer, 150 Country Club Road Associates, LLC, was contingent on rezoning the land for housing development.
