Plans for a proposed controversial warehouse complex in Dover Township will not come before the board of supervisors for review in July, according to the municipality. "We were recently informed that the Hines/Bull Canal Dover Owner LLC Preliminary Land Development Plan for the York Industrial Development Warehouses will not be ready for review by the Board of Supervisors Meeting on July 8th, 2024," according to a notification on the township's website. "We are therefore cancelling that first meeting of July, as is our practice over the summer months."

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Maryland man is in custody after allegedly taking off from State Police, and smashing into a Trooper's vehicle on Monday. 34-year-old David Frederick of Crownsville, MD initially gave Troopers a fake green card after being pulled over by PSP York on I-83 in York Township, PSP said.
Met-Ed will use aerial saw to trim trees in York County this week
YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Met-Ed will conduct aerial tree-trimming operations across York County this week, officials in Shrewsbury Township said Monday on Facebook. The trimming will be conducted by Aerial Solutions Inc., a North Carolina-based company that has contracted with Met-Ed for several years.
