Schools in Iowa Park are closed Monday because of flooding issues. The district made the announcement on its Facebook page. The post did not offer details about the flooding or indicate when the trouble would be resolved. Iowa Park, like other communities in the area, had heavy rainfall during powerful thunderstorms on Saturday. The post did not say if the flooding problems were related to weather.
