Clear Lake woman charged with fifth drunk-driving offense
CHIPPEWA FALLS — A Clear Lake woman has been charged with her fifth drunk-driving offense after she was arrested for driving in the wrong direction on Highway 29 in the town of Wheaton on Sept. 26. Lea J. Anderson, 38, was charged in Chippewa County Court with OWI-5 and operating while revoked. Prison, restitution ordered for sand plant burglary
One of two men arrested in 2023 at a sand plant south of Chetek for burglary has been sentenced to a seven-year prison term and ordered to pay more than $650,000 in restitution along with co-defendants.
