KEMPTON — The Tri-Point school board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, in the board room at the unit office at 101 E. Main St. in Kempton, with the following on the meeting’s agenda: n Reports from the principals of the high school and upper elementary/junior high school, the assistant principal of the lower elementary school and the superintendent. n Approval of a milk bid for the 2024-25 school year. n Approval of community partnership summer camp presenters. n Approval of the school district’s membership in the Illinois Association of School Boards. n Committee reports and future meeting dates. n The setting of a public hearing to permanently transfer funds. n The first reading of proposed updates to the student handbook. n Approval of late start dates for the 2024-25 school year. n Approval of the purchase of a bus camera system. n Approval to continue the school resource officer program through the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office for the 2024-25 school year. n A closed session to discuss the appointment, employment, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees, along with special education programming or other matters relating to individual students, with employment-related action to follow after the meeting is reopened to the public.
