22 Year Old Jackson Man Arrested in Sexual Extortion Scheme
A twenty-two year old man from Jackson was arrested on Friday, October 4, in a sexual extortion scheme that involved more than forty victims. Multime victims were minors. According to Darkhorse Press, a nine-count indictment was unsealed this week, revealing that a sex extortion scheme had been operated by Marquez Cameron Jones Weston, with crimes allegedly committed from July 2023 to February 2024. In this operation, he reportedly engaged in activities like cyberstalking, interstate threats, extortion, attempted productions of child pornography, and transportation of child pornography over the internet. Several of the at least 47 female women identified in the sexually explicit and nude images Weston extorted were minors. More of the female victims were unidentified. Weston also extorted money from these women.
