Former Baltimore City’s State Attorney Marilyn Mosby Sentenced on 3 Condemning Charges
The once-renowned Baltimore state attorney, Marilyn Mosby, was the youngest chief prosecutor of any major U.S. city in 2015. The one who charged 6 police officers in the case of Freddie Gray, a Black man fatally injured in police custody, was prosecuted herself in two federal court trials. One for two counts of perjury and the other for one count of mortgage fraud. If the maximum sentence is applied, she might be facing 40 years in prison but if not, it will be less impactful. Let’s see the details behind the crimes committed and the sentencing.
