ROLAND, Okla. — The Town of Roland in Oklahoma says that its tornado sirens are not working due to lightning damage. As storms blew through Sequoyah County on May 24, the town took to Facebook to warn residents that the sirens are not functioning due to suspected lightning damage to one of the circuit boards.
