PREP VOLLEYBALL: Addison earns 3-1 area win at St. Bernard
CULLMAN, Ala. — The top-ranked Addison Lady Bulldogs traveled to Saint Bernard’s Beautiful Campus to play the Lady Saints in an area matchup and Addison returned home with a four-set victory, 25-8, 23-25, 25-11, 25-13. Addison won the first set going away 25-8. It would be the last easy set the Lady Bulldogs would get from the Lady Saints. Addison jumped out 14-5 behind the serve of Annabeth Powell and the defense of Mattie Johnson and Katie Barrett. HOLLY POND, Ala. – This year’s county volleyball tournament resumed at Holly Pond High School Tuesday night with a pair of varsity and JV semifinal matches.
