Klingener, Delgado spark 8-0 victory
DENVILLE, NJ – Senior Matthew Klingener and junior Anthony Delgado each scored two goals and added two assists to lead Morris Knolls to an 8-0 victory over Morris Catholic in a high school boys soccer game played at Knolls on Thursday, Sept. 26.Seniors Andres Torres-Capote and Allan Rzeznik and juniors Jackson Robinson and Thomas Becht each added singles goals. The Colonials dropped to 2-6 on the season after today's loss.Mountain Lakes scored two goals in the first period and a third in the second before the Colonials were able to get on the board. The Morristown boys soccer team defeated West Morris in double overtime 2-1. MORRISTOWN, NJ - In the first game of the series, the Whippany Park Boys Soccer team defeated Morristown Beard by the score of 4-2. For Whippany Park, Hashem Huseini scored one goal; Brady Rees scored two; and Devon Bimonte scored one. For Morristown Beard, Tommy Byrd scored two goals. The two teams will meet again on Monday October 14th at 6 PM at Whippany Park High School for their second game in the series which has been affectionately dubbed “ the battle of Whippany Road “. Along with the game, on Monday, October 14, Whippany Park high school Boys Soccer will be honoring their seniors from the boys varsity team.
