The National Weather Service issued a report at 4:34 p.m. on Friday for strong thunderstorms until 5:15 p.m. for Mercer, Venango, Forest and Clarion counties. "At 4:34 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Franklin, moving east at 25 mph," states the weather service.
