Mount Carmel Medical Center in 1980
Found this cool aerial shot from 1980 of the former Mount Carmel Medical Center (later known as Mount Carmel West Hospital). Notice the facility was red brick at the time with many of the same buildings and cross on top that would remain until its demolition in 2020. The hospital was painted and refurbished all in the same tan color in the mid-1980s. The photo’s bottom right corner shows southbound SR 315 making a direct pass in front of the hospital.
