Cantina Coming Back to Take Over Pepito’s Old Shreveport Spot
The Days of Pepito XO on Youree Drive in Shreveport Has Officially Ended. Pepito XO was built to be one of Shreveport's most epic dining experiences. They had stacked the staff with some heavy hitters that we all know and love. Hector Munoz who is known for winning all kinds of drink competitions was the bar manager. Executive Chef Raul Rodriguez and Joe Siharath were in the kitchen and Zech Jones and Drew Tatum were in front of the house and now they are all gone. Pepito XO had its grand opening on November 17th, and less than a year later the announcement was made they closed their doors for good on September 28th. If you drive by you'll notice a lot of action in the building.
Another Bossier Comedy Night Is Coming To The East Bank
There Has Been a Comedy Revival in Bossier. Don't Take This Serious Comedy has invested a lot of time and love into the community and brought several nights of laughter our way. Don’t Take This Serious Comedy announced a local comedy competition at the East Bank Theater in February. LoCo Fest was on a mission to find the "Local Comedy Champion". Over 30 comedians tried out and only 10 made it to the final stage. All 10 had about 5 minutes to make the crowd laugh and hopefully earn the vote from the public. Since LoCo Fest it feels like Bossier can't get enough of comedy Nights.
