High school football: Woodmore holds off Cincinnati College Prep Academy 24-20
ELMORE, Ohio — Landon Rich racked up 234 rushing yards and three touchdowns as host Woodmore got by Cincinnati College Prep Academy 24-20 in nonleague high school football Saturday. Rich had 34 carries and scored on runs of 16 yards and 1 yard in the first quarter to go with a 60-yard run in the fourth quarter. His last TD put the Wildcats (4-2) ahead by two scores with 3:33 remaining. Cincinnati College Prep's Kemmarion McCray threw for 178 yards on 8-of-25 passing with an interception and added a 24-yard scoring run. The Lions (5-2) forced the Wildcats to punt with a little more than a minute to go, but, after getting to midfield, had three deep McCray passes to the end zone fall incomplete.
