Scenic park at Delaware Water Gap reopening 6 years after closure for storm damage
A popular destination within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is reopening to the public this week. George W. Childs Park on the Pennsylvania side of the national parkland, near Dingmans Ferry in Pike County, has been closed since 2018 when back-to-back winter storms destroyed much of the site, the National Park Service says.
