GCC grads challenged ‘to embrace the spirit of lifelong learning’
GREENFIELD — Dressed in black gowns and green tassels, 115 graduates accepted their degrees at Greenfield Community College Saturday afternoon. Michelle K. Schutt, the 11th president of GCC, kicked off the college’s 61st annual commencement ceremony. She took to the stage, facing a full audience of graduates, along with their friends and families that sat inside of a large white tent.
