GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE AS OF 6:02 a.m.: Power restored in the area. Severe thunderstorms in the area has left thousands of North Carolinians without power. The outages are scattered all over the Triad. The largest one left over 2,000 people without power with an estimated repair time of 5 a.m. Monday morning, according to Duke Energy.
