Here’s How Bad Indiana People are Handling New Year’s Resolutions
We are almost halfway through 2024, which makes now the perfect time to check in on how well Hoosiers are doing with their New Year's resolutions. Over the last two years, I've decided to steer clear of making any New Year's resolutions. Why? Because I know for a fact that I won't stick with it. In 2021, I committed to losing 100 pounds but was only able to drop about half that. Perhaps it's never too late to kick-start an old goal. Either way, I'm not alone, because most Hoosiers in 2024 have already said goodbye to their new-year goals as well.

My military career was bookended by the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, which began in response to the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Many of us who served in that time lost friends on the battlefield or in support of combat operations. Sadly, many of us also lost friends to suicide.
