Manasquan issues mandatory water restrictions
The Borough of Manasquan has implemented a town-wide mandatory water restriction from Saturday, Sept. 7 through Friday, Sept. 13 in order to initiate upgrades to the borough’s water supply system, according to a recent press release. According to the release, the watering of lawns, washing of cars, filling of pools or any other non-essential use of water will be prohibited across this seven-day period.

MANASQUAN — The Manasquan borough council heard a presentation that provided updates on upcoming repairs to rehab the borough’s water storage tank from Ryan Travers, assistant to the superintendent of public works, at its Sept. 3 meeting. BRICK TOWNSHIP — The Brick Elks Youth Activities Committee held a summer bash fundraiser on the weekend, raising money for a slew of programs benefiting children all over the state.
