Celebrating Local Achievements: Over 1,700 Graduates Honored at UND's Spring Commencement 2024
The University of North Dakota (UND) held its Spring Commencement 2024, graduating over 1,700 students. The ceremonies took place on several Saturdays in May, with the final event on May 11 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. This year, UND awarded degrees to more than 1,100 undergraduates and 600 graduate students.

UND Alum Chuck Klosterman Delivers Keynote on Personal Fulfillment at Commencement
Chuck Klosterman, a noted journalist and author, recently spoke at the University of North Dakota's (UND) commencement ceremony. A UND alumnus from 1994, Klosterman shared personal stories, including his choice to miss his own graduation to watch a basketball game. He used this story to emphasize the importance of personal experiences and memories.
UND Launches North Dakota Fulbright Chapter to Boost Global Academic Ties
The University of North Dakota (UND) has established the North Dakota Fulbright Chapter to enhance international academic and cultural exchanges. Led by Yee Han Chu, the coordinator for academic support and fellowship opportunities at UND, the chapter aims to connect prospective Fulbright scholars, artists, and researchers in North Dakota with a global network. It is part of the Fulbright Association, which includes 53 chapters across 38 states and several countries, including India and Norway.
