Low water crossing discussed at Commissioners Court
SAN ANGELO, Texas — At Tom Green County Commissioners’ Court on Tuesday, Oct. 1, Colton Connor brought his case to the commissioners. As FOX West Texas reported in early September, Connor was separated from his children during September’s heavy rain and floodin, which closed off access to his home via Mineral Wells Crossing. And while residents of the area would normally use nearby Kenley Lane, a new owner has closed off access to that road as well. Connor and residents have petitioned for eminent domain, which would force the landowner to sell property to the county for open access, but Precinct 4’s commissioner says he doesn’t think that would be the best course of action.
Lake View Chiefs Prepare for First-Ever Game With Burnet
SAN ANGELO, TX — The Lake View Chiefs will hit the road Friday for a third straight week, this time with a Hill Country trip to Burnet. The Chiefs have struggled since in losses to Lubbock High (31-13) and last week against Levelland (44-26). On the bright side, Lake View’s offense continues to remain a threat to keep the Chiefs in games. Lake View has scored at least 26 points in all but one game this year. Learn More Here.
