Chain Pizza Restaurant Sbarro Receives D Grade During Health Inspection in Metro Phoenix
Not long ago, Sbarro was king of the pizza chains. It dominated mall food courts and was often the go-to pizza destination for anyone who wanted a fast slice. However, the pizza chain isn’t what it once was, losing stores just as quickly as malls have shuttered around the country. In metro Phoenix, there are still a handful of Sbarro restaurants, although one performed poorly during its most recent health inspection, receiving a D grade following the completion of its inspection.
Serrano's, 105 Year Old Family Restaurant, Set to Close Next Week
It’s always a sad day when a favorite restaurant closes down. From no longer being able to order a dish you love to losing out on a place that holds important memories, over time, a restaurant has the power to become so much more than just a place that serves food. Unfortunately, some restaurants, when they do close, do so quietly, as if afraid of what the world might think of the shuttering. They might tell the public after the fact, but it robs clients of the chance to enjoy the food one last time. Thankfully, there are others that pre-announce an upcoming closure. That is exactly the case for one longtime Mexican restaurant, which, after 105 years of business, is closing for good in the coming days.
