North Texas family wants answers after soldier found dead in home
NORTH TEXAS — Private First Class Katia Duenas-Aguilar of Mesquite enlisted in the Army in 2018. She had a four-year-old son and was stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky but had recently told her family she was planning on leaving the Army. WWII ‘Hit ‘em Harder’ Submarine Wreck Site Confirmed
DALLAS, TX - The wreckage of a famed World War II-era U.S. Navy submarine, which sank a record number of Japanese ships with Dallas-born naval commander Samuel David Dealey at the helm, has been found. This was announced by the U.S. Navy’s History and Heritage Command shortly before the Memorial Day weekend when the department’s Underwater Archaeology Branch confirmed the discovery of the USS Harder.
