Powell: Nearing 80, Cousino's remains a classic
On a dinner visit to Cousino’s Steakhouse on Woodville Road in East Toledo, it was good to see that old favored traditions are alive and well. The non-profit organization held its “Enchanted Under the Sea Pooch Prom” at the South Toledo park, 1171 Woodsdale Ave., on May 18, with superlatives, music, treats, and more for guests to enjoy. “It was for members to have a little fun with their dogs… A lot of our members love a good reason to bring their dogs together,” said Erin Laws, the board president at the Glass City Dog Park. “[They] know that there’s going to be other people there to socialize their dogs and themselves.”
