Sunbury, Pa. — A Sunbury man who violated a Protection from Abuse order became unruly and gave police the middle finger when they tried to take him into custody. Nathan Daniel Lloyd, 40, now faces charges for the alleged incident on Sept. 19 at a Sunbury home. Harrisburg caretaker enters plea in drowning death of Cumberland County grandmother
A Harrisburg caretaker accused of falling asleep while her patient wandered outside and drowned in a pool entered a plea deal Wednesday. Folake Sowami, 44, of Harrisburg, admitted in court she fell asleep while she was supposed to be watching Rosinha “Rosy” Pereira, a retired nurse who led a storied career between Mumbai, India and Michigan. She pleaded guilty to one felony and misdemeanor.
