Carbon County Sports Hall of Fame inducts new members
LEHIGHTON, Pa. — The Carbon County Sports Hall of Fame inducted 21 new members today from a wide range of sports, including players, coaches, and even officials who have made an impact in their career. One of those members of the 2024 class is Lehighton native and current NFL official Duane Heydt.

A house in Lake Harmony that sold for $680,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Carbon County in the past week. In total, 24 residential real estate sales were recorded in the county during the past week, with an average price of $319,002. The average price per square foot ended up at $200.
