Graduation Season: Sandy Hook 12yrs After a Horrifying Time
It's springtime. For many high school and university students, that can only mean one thing. Graduation. Graduation for many, especially high school students, is the penultimate turning point towards adulthood. But for a small community in Newtown, Connecticut time is somber as they begin to reflect what could have been. 11 and a half years doesn't seem like a long time to many. But for Sandy Hook alumni, faculty, staff, and survivors, it is a time for reflection as they look back at the students, teachers, and classmates who were lost on that tragic December morning in 2012.
