SEDGWICK COUNTY — The suspect involved in a shooting near a school on Monday made his first court appearance in the case. Vincent Solomon Jr., 46, Wichita, is charged with attempted 1st degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, and interference with law enforcement, according to the Sedgwick County District attorney's office.
