Upcoming Water Service Interruption and Boil Advisory for W. Oak to W. Magnolia Area on May 6
On May 6, 2024, a water outage will occur from W. Oak Street to W. Magnolia and from S. Lee Ave to S. Baldwin Ave, including Robinson Court, due to utility work. The outage is expected to last up to 8 hours. After water service resumes, a mandatory boil water advisory will be in place for the affected area. Residents should run all faucets briefly and flush toilets several times. Before drinking or cooking, boil tap water for at least 2 minutes. Heavy rain washes out road in Madison County
MADISON COUNTY, Texas — Severe weather reportedly caused heavy damage to a road in Madison County, Texas during this weekend's storms. A Facebook post from the account Madison County, Texas Weather showed a large section of what they said was Farm to Market Road 2989 having been completely swept away. The post claims heavy rainfall caused the road to wash out and cave in.
