The Alabama Crimson Tide 2024 season has not ended just yet, as the team received word today that they will be participating in the Tallahassee Regional along with the Florida State Seminoles, UCF and Stetson. Alabama, the No. 2 seed, will face off against the No. 3 seeded Knights of UCF on Friday to get the postseason started. Despite playing a difficult regular season schedule, first-season manager for the Tide earned an overall record of 33-22 and went 13-17 in SEC play. 96 days until Alabama football kicks off the 2024 season
In 96 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa. Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Saban announced a new joint venture with the University of Alabama at his annual Nick Kids Golf Tournament at the Old Overton Club in Birmingham, Alabama. Saban told reporters at the event that he and his wife ― Terry Saban ― are in the process of launching a career development program for former Crimson Tide football players.
Tough September slate for Alabama Football
Alabama Football may be facing its toughest early season schedule in several years. Year one of the Kalen DeBoer era should start off smoothly enough, as the Tide will host Western Kentucky on the final day of August and South Florida the following week. However, it wraps up the month with a road game against Wisconsin and a home tilt against Georgia, both of which will be stiff tests for Alabama.
