🚧 Update on Bridge Rehabilitation and Roadwork Impacting NY 27 Westbound in Brookhaven
The time displayed is local to the original 511 traffic site in NewYork. Residents and commuters in Brookhaven should prepare for travel disruptions the week of May 13th, as the New York State Department of Transportation undertakes bridge rehabilitation and roadwork. These activities are scheduled on the westbound side of NY 27, specifically between Moriches Middle Island Road and Titmus Drive. Commuters can expect one lane to be closed from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M., starting Monday, May 13th, 2024, and lasting through Friday, May 17th, 2024. This work pattern will be in effect Monday through Friday, and will primarily affect daytime traffic. Planning your route in advance and allowing for additional travel time is highly recommended during these dates and times to avoid being significantly delayed by these necessary roadworks.

This community right-of-way and sidewalk clearing on Old Town Road between Pagnotta Drive and Old Town Road connects residents of Comsewogue and Middle Country School districts.
