Flyers fall to Albany at home
The Little Falls Flyers volleyball team hosted Albany Tuesday, Sept. 24. The Flyers showed grit and increased their score after the first set, but still struggled to pull ahead as they fell 0-3 (9-25, 14-25, 14-25). The leading attackers for the Flyers were Annika Halvorson and Karli Brigmon with three kills each. Kendra Robinson followed with two kills and Abby Henry with one. Karleigh Borstad came up with one serve ace. Brynn Thoma finisged the game with three digs on defense. Halvorson had one blocked shot and three block assists. Henry had two block assists. The Flyers traveled to take on the nearby Pierz Pioneers Thursday, Sept. 26. They will host St. Cloud Apollo Monday, Sept. 30.
