Wausau Cyclones junior hockey picks up pair of wins at Peoria
PEORIA, Ill. – The Wausau Cyclones took on the Peoria Mustangs over the weekend at the Owens Center looking to keep their grip on first place in the Central Division. Wausau earned the sweep, winning 5-1 on Friday night and 6-1 on Saturday in its second trip to Peoria this season. The two victories move the Cyclones record to 6-1-0-0, which keeps the team in first place in the NA3HL Central Division and moves their winning streak to four.
