Former Kentucky guard joining John Calipari in Arkansas
After a solid freshman season for the University of Kentucky, D.J. Wagner will have a new home next season. One of the top guards to emerge from New Jersey over the past decade, Wagner will follow John Calipari to Arkansas out of the transfer portal. In his only season at Kentucky, Wagner averaged 9.9 points and 3.3 assists per game. He was also named the SEC Freshman of the Week three times and was a member of the All-SEC team. While. Who Arkansas faces in final Field of 64 projections
The final field of 64 projections for the 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament were unveiled by D1Baseball and Baseball America Sunday evening and Monday morning. Neither showed any change to Arkansas’ projected regional, or where coach Dave Van Horn’s team figures to be seeded. D1Baseball and Baseball America still have the Razorbacks as the No. 5 overall seed among the top-eight national seeds. Like Sunday, D1Baseball sees Arkansas welcoming Louisiana Tech (45-17), Kansas State (32-24), and Summit League Champion Oral Roberts (27-30-1) to the Razorbacks’ four-team, double-elimination regional at Baum-Walker Stadium. Baseball America forecasts Arkansas’ regional to include Louisiana Tech, as well. Southland Conference...

BYU’s Jaslyn Gardner turns in star performance at NCAA track prelims
For the second time in three days, BYU’s Jaslyn Gardner delivered one of the most surprising performances in the NCAA West Preliminaries track and field meet in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday. The senior from Enterprise finished third in the 100-meter dash with a superb time of 11.00, which would be a huge improvement over her school record of 11.22, but it was wind-aided — barely. An aiding wind of 2.0 or less is legal; in Gardner’s case, the wind was over the allowable limit by a mere .01 of a second. Gardner, who began collegiate competition in 2019, was no better than sixth in the Big 12 championships two weeks ago with a time of 11.35, but she has caught fire at the end of her collegiate career.
Arkansas tight end room should be vastly improved in 2024
With a healthier room, a boost of experience and a key transfer addition, Arkansas tight ends might be the most improved group on the Razorback football team in 2024. Arkansas lost their two top contributors at tight end due to injury during last season and also have high hopes for some others.
