Woman charged after her car hit a pedestrian in Clay and she drove off, deputies say
Syracuse, N.Y. — A 21-year-old woman has been accused of hitting a 46-year-old man with her car in Clay last month and then leaving the scene, deputies said. The woman, Angel Manatad, of Clay, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault, tampering with evidence, leaving the scene of an accident and providing a false report, according to Thomas Newton, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
